There is a new buzz term floating around "shadow ghosts". It sounds like we have found a new type of ghost, but actually they have been around as long as the other ghosts. They just happen to be darker in color instead of the traditional gray white mist.
They are just ghosts that have a dark, gray black shadow and seem to be able to move quicker than the average ghost. Some are malicious, others are not. Most are noted to hover near ceilings and give off the feeling of staring down at you from that height. Making you feel uncomfortable. These are usually the ones being malicious. Or moving out of the corner of your eye and it's usually dismissed because it happened so quickly. They can show up in photos as a small, shadowy, transparent form or in human size form. Unlike the gray, misty, white ghost, they could very well have the potential to be more powerful.
Are they demons? No. Some have said that a shadow ghost can be seen as a dark blob mass or sometimes have red eyes. The dark blob mass and red eyes are usually associated with a dark entity.
We are only now beginning to realize they exist. The question is.. what makes them darker in color compared to the other kind. There are many theories floating about, such as, having denser mass, or they are more evil in nature or more depressed, even perhaps similar to the energy manipulation of vortices/ portals. Either way... only time and more investigations can answer these questions as to what their true nature is.
