Rogersville -  - In 1959 the elementary building caught fire and a 3rd grade class was trapped inside and burned to death. One of the children, named Gregg Tanner, saw the fire before it reached the classroom and tried to warn the teacher. The teacher passed it off because Gregg was known as "the little boy who cried wolf". Many people have seen Gregg's ghost running the halls of the present day school. Some say they have been in a room alone and heard whispers saying "Help".
