Prattville - Gurney's Manufacturing - It's the location where a little boy fell down an elevator shaft and didn't survive. It's said that his mother looks for him. -Update: According to local news, Gurney Mfg. burned down. It was an historic building and a lot of people in Prattville had ties to it.

Building was destroyed by arson in 2002.

Building was built in 1846 and was used for textiles manufacturing until 1997 when Gurney went out of business.

Supposedly Willie Youngblood who worked in the mill, fell to his death in an elevator shaft sometime before the 1920`s.

Over the years there were many reports of workers seeing the spirit of what they think was Willie`s mother in different places in the mill.
