The Society

I'm a photographer who wants to capture ghostly images on film or video. As to why I started the Southern Historical and Paranormal Society in late 2008. My goal is to group together some skeptical individuals like myself who are intriqued and well versed in this phenomena. I try limiting the "hunt" to smaller groups of 6 or less people, it just depends where the hunt will take place. I would like to find individuals who can persue permissions to these properties and who are good at organizing these events. Another type of indiviudual I am seeking is one like myself who is intriqued and posses some of the new electronic devices available to capture these ghostly images. But I also hope to attract just the average person who is seeking knowledge as I am in hopes to gain better perspective.

My mission statement is very short. Bring with you your intrique and judgement. Take nothing except your experience and photographs. Leave nothing but footprints. If we respect the areas we go into they will be available to us for years to come.
