It is said that Mt Zion is a place for devil worshipping.  The only thing I have encountered there was a group of deliquents who do not understand the value or significance of the area.   There are stories that show this story has been around for over 20 years.

It is said that there are tunnels which run underneath the graveyard. The doorway to these tunnels is a concrete stucture on the property which has steps and is filled with debris.  That if you clean the debris away there is a wooden door which is the entrance to the tunnels.  None of this is true.  The picture of the concrete structure which they are talking about is attached. It is the baptism pool which was used by the church.

It is said that there are indian burial mounds on the property.  I have looked for these and could not find any.  I did hike back into the woods on a couple of occasions from the cemetery wood line all the way to the creek.  No burial mounds.
The area was however inhabitant of creek indinas well into the 1800's.  Exactly where, not sure.
