Headland AL out Country Road lies Old Gamble Cemetery.  An old graveyard with the majority of the graves dating back prior to the 1900's.  We did an hour investigation with minimal EMF spikes and no ghostly appartions.  Perhaps all the spirits are at rest here.

Location:      Southern Henry County; 85 degrees, 14 minutes, 01.15 west longitude
31 degrees, 19 minutes, 01.15 seconds north latitude.
From the intersection of US 431 and County Road 22 in Headland, Alabama,
go easterly on County Road 22 approximately 5.5 miles.  Watch for Truman Road
on the south side of County Road 22.  As soon as you see Truman Road, the next
dirt road (unnamed as of date of survey) on the north side of County Road 22
leads approximately 3/10th of a mile to the cemetery on the east side of the
            dirt road.

The cemetery is unkempt and shows no evidence of recent use or maintenance.
Graves marked only with metal funeral home markers are noted because these markers
are easily damaged by mowers and often do not last a long time.  Graves marked with
multiple tombstones (military/civilian and old/new) have each of the tombstones recorded
as a separate entry.   All tombstones, plus family groupings, locations and panoramic
views of the cemetery were recorded with a digital camera and the full set of high-resolution
images in .jpg format along with this text file will be placed in the Family History Library,
Salt Lake City, Utah, for public use.   This survey taken February 24, 2009.

KEY:   STW = Shares Tombstone With
TIA = Tombstone Identical and Adjacent to
