As a sensitive I have always relied on protection from the divine when I enter a haunted place. For protection I always envision a bubble of white light of the Holy Ghost to surround me at all times during a ghost hunt and I also ask  the angels for protection. Techniques like these helps to keep negative energies at a distance and from harming you.

As a basic rule no one ever knows what might be haunting in a certain place regardless of legends or facts about that place. So it is always a good idea to surround yourself with protection before entering the site.

Use whatever technique works for you and feels comfortable for you in asking for divine protection. There are several ways... a prayer to God, surrounding yourself with the white light of the Holy Ghost, and drawing a symbol of protection before you ..are just a few techniques used. Even a circle of prayer among team members before the investigation begins is a great idea. These are just the basics.

The goal is to have a safe ghost hunt and not have something negative  attack you or follow you home at the end of the investigation.  If you are curious to learn more about the techniques used for divine protection.. feel free to ask me.
