The internet is an amazing place.  You can find out all sorts of information including what really happened to Amelia Earhart. But you have to really want to know in order to find it.  And if you found this page then perhaps you are deserving.  These few paragraphs  will describe what the government will not let you know about this American icon of early aviation and her failed round the world flight.

There are many secrets which have not been revealed as to the fate of Amelia Earhart and Fred Noonan.  There are several reasons for this and I will try and explain those to you.  The main reason is because it was a highly publicized media event which went awry and the truth as to what happened is so bizarre and "unexplainable" that it would of embarrassed not only our government, but other governments as well.

A rogue Russian scouting party out of Vladivostok found Amelia Earhart and Fred Noonan crashed on an island located in the Phoenix Group shortly after she disappeared the morning of July 2, 1937.  This military group was gathering intelligence regarding the American and British mail route endeavors in the Phoenix Islands.  They had been in the area for sometime but was out of touch with their headquarters and had no knowledge of Amelia Earhart or the World Flight.  When  they came upon the small uncharted island and wreckage they assumed the two fliers were of all things, fur smugglers.  Of course the woman was not the Captain of the aircraft so they executed Fred Noonan and left Amelia on the island for dead.  She was later rescued by the British and repatriated back to the US under an assumed name where she lived on the island of Hilo until she died of natural causes in the late 1970's.

What was Earhart doing in the Phoenix Islands?  The small uncharted island rest 300 miles to the south of Earhart's publicized landing point of Howland Island.  To better understand this you have to understand that this was Earhart's final publicized stunt and it would need to be a sensational story that would last for years to follow.  In secrecy, Earhart, her husband George Putnam, and Paul Mantz decided to go against the Navy's decision for Howland Island and chose this small uncharted island instead.  It was suppose to play out something like this - she secretly changes course and lands on this small island.  The Navy, fearing she is lost and down at sea launches a massive search effort.  Earhart refuels on this island, takes off, flies up through the Phoenix group, over Palmyra, then lands un-announced safely in Hawaii with the crowd cheering her on and with the Navy slapping their foreheads.  It would of been the story of all stories had she succeeded.  The map on the previous page confirms their intentions.

This small uncharted island had been previously used by the US Navy in an "unofficial" way to see if it was feasible to refuel land based planes instead of using seaplanes in the area for mail routes from New Zealand to Hawaii.  A small runway was built and shortly afterwards they decided this island would not be beneficial and abandoned the endeavor.  From the time they left the area until Earhart's attempted landing, the makeshift runway deteriorated with overgrowth leaving Earhart with only about 400 feet of useable landing area.  For this, she crashed that morning rendering the aircraft useless.  The deal was if anything went wrong that nothing would be said to the Navy to avoid subsequent prosecution with George Putnum holding up his end of the deal.  However, shortly after she "disappeared", George and Paul Mantz feverishly tried to get the Navy to search the Phoenix Islands.  The Navy arrived in this area 9 days after she was lost however there was nothing left to find.

President Roosevelt, after learning the truth of what happened, decided it would be too embarrassing to the United States in the eyes of the world had anyone ever found out the truth.  For this he repatriated Earhart to Hilo under an assumed name and protected the truth through his powers of secrecy.  This protection is still in effect today.

This is truly what happened to Amelia Earhart.  Recently some of Earhart's personal belongings were flown into space onto the Russian space station. Why?  What they were actually doing is shoving all this up the American ass.  They use it against us in highly sophisticated ways.  Some high ranking military commanders know the truth and understand the significance however the average American person does not.
