Welcome to the Southern Historical and Paranormal Society Website
Southern Historical and Paranormal Society was founded in 2008 by a group of ghost story enthusiast who reside in Southern Alabama. We are interested in the local folklore and history surrounding the wiregrass area. Many ghost stories have been handed down from parents to children over the years with some unfortunatley lost forever. Our society would like to investigate and document local ghost stories, myths, and legends to preserve them for future generations.
If you reside in the regional wiregrass area and feel you have a haunting, please contact us. We will come in, document evidence, and further assist with the situation. Southern Historical and Paranormal Society will work with individuals as well as local church and other support groups who are in need. There is never a fee associated with these services.
